A decade ago, Robert was an owner of a successful company. Then he heard the story of three American Indian elders who froze to death in their homes in South Dakota. After learning that thousands of others on reservations also lacked adequate housing, Robert sold his company and founded the Red Feather Development Group. Now he and his volunteers spend their time building warm, environmentally-friendly straw bale homes for American Indians...saving money, energy and lives on reservations across America.
